Ramadan 2026: Check Feb. 27 Sehri, Iftar Timings In Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad And Other Cities

As Ramadan approaches in 2026, Muslims across India are preparing for the holy month of fasting, which is set to begin on February 28. The fasting schedule, which includes Sehri (pre-dawn meal) and Iftar (meal to break the fast), is based on precise timings that vary by location. Major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Hyderabad will have slightly different Sehri and Iftar times, reflecting local sunrise and sunset patterns. For instance, in Delhi, Sehri is expected to be observed around 5:38 AM, while Iftar will occur at approximately 6:21 PM. In Mumbai, these times will be 5:49 AM for Sehri and 6:24 PM for Iftar. Kolkata will have a Sehri time of 5:38 AM and Iftar at 6:15 PM, whereas Hyderabad's timings are projected at 5:36 AM for Sehri and 6:16 PM for Iftar. As Ramadan is a period of spiritual reflection, many families will also be focusing on community gatherings and charitable acts, making these timings crucial for faithful adherence to their religious practices. This year, the observance of Ramadan coincides with significant cultural celebrations, adding to the anticipation of the month-long festivities.
