Preparations for upcoming SIR commence in Telangana

As Telangana gears up for its special electoral roll revision scheduled for April, the Election Commission is taking proactive measures to ensure a smooth process. A total of 195 Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs) are being trained to enhance the accuracy of the voter lists and maintain compliance with electoral regulations. This initiative aims to facilitate a transparent electoral process, fostering greater voter participation and engagement in the upcoming elections. The training program focuses on equipping the AEROs with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage the electoral roll revision, which is crucial for the integrity of the electoral framework in Telangana.
