‘No development’: Months after Pahalgam attack, victim's daughter awaits Maharashtra govt job promise

Asawari, the daughter of a victim from the Pahalgam attack, has expressed her frustration over the Maharashtra government's unfulfilled promise of a job for her family. Nearly six months after the tragic incident, which claimed the life of her father, the lack of progress in providing employment has left her disheartened. On Monday, she voiced her concerns during a meeting with local BJP leader Navnath Ban, who assured her that he would take her grievances to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The Pahalgam attack, which was widely reported and condemned, has since raised questions about the government’s commitment to supporting victims’ families. The delay in offering a job has intensified feelings of neglect and disappointment among those affected, highlighting the ongoing struggle for justice and support in the aftermath of such tragedies. Asawari's plea underscores the urgent need for the government to honor its commitments and provide timely assistance to victims' families, ensuring that they can rebuild their lives in the face of profound loss.
