Nabi 12-for takes J&K to maiden Ranji semi-final as MP fall short

In a historic achievement, Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) has advanced to the semi-finals of the Ranji Trophy for the first time, thanks to a remarkable 12-wicket haul by bowler Umran Nabi. The match against Madhya Pradesh (MP) saw J&K successfully defend a target of 291 runs, despite a valiant effort from MP's Saransh Jain, who scored 64 runs. However, MP's batting lineup faltered under pressure, leading to their elimination from the tournament. Nabi's outstanding performance not only secured the win for J&K but also highlighted the team's growing prowess in Indian cricket. The semi-final appearance marks a significant milestone for J&K cricket, reflecting the region's potential and dedication to the sport. This victory is expected to inspire upcoming players and boost cricketing infrastructure in the area.
