Manipur CM appeals to IDPs to help govt overcome trust deficit among communities

In a recent address, Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh urged internally displaced persons (IDPs) to actively participate in rebuilding trust among the various communities in the state. Highlighting the ongoing challenges in Manipur, which has faced ethnic tensions and violence, Singh emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation in the healing process. He acknowledged the grievances of IDPs, who have suffered due to the unrest, and called for their collaboration with the government to foster a more inclusive and peaceful environment. The CM's appeal is part of broader efforts to address the trust deficit that has emerged between different groups amid ongoing social strife.
