Indo-US Defence Ties Continues To Grow Stronger: US Ambassador Sergio Gor

US Ambassador to India, Sergio Gor, along with Admiral Samuel J. Paparo, recently visited the Indian Army's Western Command headquarters to enhance bilateral defence relations. Their discussions with Lieutenant General Manoj Kumar Katiyar focused on the strategic security dynamics along India's Western Front, a region critical to national security amidst evolving geopolitical challenges. This visit underscores the growing military partnership between India and the United States, reflecting shared interests in maintaining stability and security in the Indo-Pacific region. The strengthening of defence ties is part of a broader framework of cooperation between the two nations, which includes joint military exercises and collaborations in technology and intelligence sharing. As regional tensions escalate, particularly concerning China's assertive postures, both countries are keen to reinforce their strategic alliance, ensuring mutual support in addressing security threats. The dialogue at the Western Command marks another step in the ongoing efforts to solidify Indo-US relations, fostering a robust framework for defence cooperation.
