Indian Railways To Shut Down UTS App, Launches RailOne As Successor

Indian Railways has announced the discontinuation of its UTS (Unreserved Ticketing System) mobile app effective March 1. The UTS app, which has been widely used for purchasing unreserved tickets, will be replaced by the new RailOne super app. This transition aims to streamline ticketing processes and enhance user experience by consolidating various railway services into a single platform. RailOne is expected to offer a more comprehensive suite of features, making it easier for passengers to access essential services, including ticket bookings, cancellations, and real-time updates. The initiative aligns with Indian Railways' ongoing efforts to modernize its digital infrastructure and improve customer service. The introduction of RailOne signifies a significant step forward in the digitization of railway services in India, catering to the evolving needs of travelers across the nation.
