India, not in Donald Trump's ‘Board of Peace’ yet, attends its key meet as 'observer'

India participated in a significant meeting held in Washington as an observer, despite not being a member of the newly formed 'Board of Peace' initiated by former U.S. President Donald Trump. The Board aims to promote stability and peace across various global regions. India's envoy, Namgya Khampa, represented the country during the discussions, highlighting India's interest in international peace-building efforts even as it refrains from formal membership. This engagement underscores India's strategic diplomatic approach, balancing its non-alignment policies while actively participating in global dialogues concerning peace and security. The move comes at a time when India is keen on strengthening its international relationships and asserting its role on the global stage, especially in the context of ongoing geopolitical tensions and the need for collaborative efforts to address global challenges.
