Four dead after consuming ‘adulterated’ milk in Andhra Pradesh

In a tragic incident in East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh, four individuals have lost their lives and ten others have been hospitalized due to the consumption of allegedly adulterated milk. The victims consumed the contaminated product supplied by an unauthorized vendor over the past two days. Local authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, focusing on the source of the milk and the vendor's operations. This case has raised serious concerns about food safety regulations and the risks posed by unregulated vendors. Health officials are urging the public to report any suspected cases of adulterated food products to prevent further tragedies. As the state grapples with this issue, it underscores the need for stricter enforcement of quality control measures in the dairy sector to protect consumers from potential health hazards.
