Cabinet clears railway projects worth ₹9Kcr

The Indian Cabinet has sanctioned a substantial ₹9,072 crore for three major railway projects aimed at boosting capacity across four states. This investment is part of the government's broader initiative to enhance transportation infrastructure and improve connectivity. In addition to the railway funding, the Cabinet also allocated ₹1,677 crore for the development of Srinagar airport, underscoring the focus on upgrading facilities in Jammu and Kashmir.
