Bruce wants more exposure for Associates but acknowledges schedule crunch

In a recent statement, Bruce, the coach of the Associates cricket teams, expressed a desire for greater visibility and exposure for Associate nations in international cricket. He acknowledged the ongoing challenges posed by a congested schedule, which often limits opportunities for these teams to compete at higher levels. Bruce emphasized that although his team has demonstrated superior performance in certain periods of matches, sustaining that level of play consistently throughout the entire match remains a challenge. He highlighted the importance of providing Associate teams with more competitive fixtures to help them improve and gain recognition. This call for increased exposure comes at a time when cricket is increasingly dominated by a select few nations, and Bruce’s comments reflect a growing sentiment within the cricketing community that Associate nations deserve more recognition and opportunities on the global stage.
