Apple Reportedly Plans iOS 27 Codebase Cleanup to Improve iPhone Battery Life

Apple is set to enhance its iOS operating system with the upcoming iOS 27 update, focusing on codebase optimization to boost iPhone battery life and overall efficiency. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, this initiative aims to address user feedback regarding battery performance, a critical aspect for many iPhone users. In addition to battery improvements, the update will introduce some changes to the user interface, although these are expected to be less dramatic than the significant Liquid Glass design changes seen in iOS 26. Furthermore, iOS 27 is anticipated to feature a revamped version of Siri, Apple’s AI-powered virtual assistant, aiming to enhance user interaction. As Apple continues to refine its software offerings, these updates reflect the company's commitment to improving user experience and device performance.
